Indacaterol maleate is an ultra-long-acting β2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) that provides 24-hour bronchodilation with once-daily dosing. It is used for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and is also incorporated into combination inhaler therapies
